Administrative Assistant
Amico Corporation is seeking a self-motivated, organized and highly detail-oriented individual for an Administrative Assistant role within the IT department. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to work in collaboration with multiple departments across the organization. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, have a strong work ethic, and possess fluency in both oral and written expression in English, as well as the self-confidence to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the company.
As an Administrative Assistant, your duties will vary and will include:
- Updating employee records in software to track company-provided hardware
- Tracking requirements related to various projects in the IT-Hardware department
- Acting as the primary point of contact and liaison between management, internal departments, and external partners
- Overseeing IT-Hardware department’s inventory of office supplies, and monitoring the status of the equipment and any maintenance requirements
- Assisting the IT-Hardware team with the ordering of equipment and supplies, including what is needed during the on-boarding of new employees
- Preparing and distributing correspondence such as emails, memos, letters, etc.
- Submitting expense reports with correct cost allocations; handling purchase orders and invoices, licensing agreements, scope of work agreements, etc.
- Assisting senior leadership with new projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met
- Other administrative duties, as required
There are usually multiple projects in process at the same time. The scope of your responsibilities will expand depending on your abilities and interests.

- Communication: you have strong written and oral communication skills; you can draft a professional email
- Discretion: the ability to work with confidential information and keep it confidential
- Effectiveness: you are able to complete work on time and within constraints
- Interpersonal skills: you are self-confident in your dealings with people at all levels of the organization and know how to build strong interpersonal relationships
- Problem solving skills and the ability to find new solutions
- Time Management: you can juggle multiple tasks, and you know when to ask for help and when you can manage on your own
- An interest in learning new technologies
- Willingness to learn about the processes and business requirements of the organization
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Salary Range: $40K - 47K
