Operating Room

To do this, all of our patient room lighting fixtures provide multifunctional solutions that address the needs of both the patient and the caregiver. High-quality illumination, color rendering, and appropriate color temperatures support clinicians and maximize clinical workflow efficiencies. At the same time, design aesthetics and general lighting functionalities provide patients with a home-like environment that facilitates patient comfort and healing. All of our fixtures are engineered with a one-piece seam welded enclosure and antimicrobial finishes for infection control measures. Amico's specialized surgical luminaires are designed to provide flawless visibility in the OR environment with precise and uniform illumination, proper color rendering, and superior shadow control. Surgical lighting plays a crucial role in the Operating Room and must provide surgeons and clinicians outstanding performance and functionality. Amico's surgical luminaires are designed to provide perimeter lighting in the operating room theater to support clinicians with visual acuity during advanced surgical procedures. Our Solar Series Surgical Luminaires offer additional flexibility and can be used with Green and White LED combinations to reduce glare on monitors and prevent eye strain during lengthy surgical procedures. For added convenience, all surgical fixtures offer dimming and zoned lighting options.

Procedure & Exam

Amico's behavioral health lighting solutions provide a clean and modern aesthetic that contributes to the patient's overall sense of comfort to help facilitate relaxation and healing. All of our behavioral solutions are specifically engineered to mitigate patient health risks by ensuring all fixtures are designed with the necessary precautions to ensure patient safety. These precautions include an anti-ligature design, Torx screw fasteners, and a tamper-proof polycarbonate lens. Further enhance patient comfort with optional Human Centric lighting features to help maintain circadian rhythms and regulate sleep-wake cycles for an enhanced mood and improved patient recovery.

The Cleanroom environment is a highly controlled environment that is designed to reduce contamination by filtering out pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles to maintain a high degree of cleanliness.  To keep up with the rigorous demands of the Cleanroom environment, Amico offers recessed Cleanroom fixtures with both ISO3 and ISO4 ratings in a lower-profile design to accommodate for limited ceiling space. Our Cleanroom fixtures come in various color temperatures, CRI's, and lumen outputs to support users with proper illumination for safe and effective operations within the controlled environment. Long-lasting LEDs provide higher energy efficiency and ensure fixtures are low maintenance. Additional LED options include Amber and Red LEDs for photosensitive processes where photochemically sensitive materials are used or manufactured.  Amico's Cleanroom fixtures come with ingress protection and offer various IP ratings and NSF listings for further infection control purposes.
