We are currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our growing team in Amico Patient Care.
What you will do as a Shipper/Receiver
· Determine best method of shipment and prepare shipping documents.
· Source new shipping companies, negotiate pricing and delivery times.
· Continuous improvement of packing methods to ensure product arrives to destination without damage.
· Assemble crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
· Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
· Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
· Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
· Operate forklift or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

- Educational background in supply chain management or operations management studies an asset.
- Shipping/Receiving experience an asset.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.
- Proficient in computer and MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer and math skills and ability to learn new software.

Work Environment: Production floor (Warehouse environment)
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Range: $21-$22/hr
