Quality Control Technician - Amico Lights

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

Reading and understanding engineering drawings
Analyzing critical quality dimensional or functional parameters
Inspection of parts using various metrological equipment such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, micrometers, go/ no go gauges, multimeters and spectrometers etc.
Making reports of inspection, non-conformance, rework, and sample evaluation
Logging and archiving all quality-related reports
Analysis of external test reports and data
Decision-making on acceptance of parts and products
Containment of all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Interdepartmental coordination/communication for the proper disposition of non-conformances
Participating in continuous improvement processes
Follow Company Quality Operating procedures
Reporting of various defects or variances in manufacturing process
Attention to detail on visual checks to make sure all parts and products meet aesthetic quality standards
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis on failed/ returned goods
Assisting in external quality audits
Performing additional tasks assigned by team lead/ supervisor

Qualification/ Expertise Required:

Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerances
Experience with Quality audits
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Basic electrical knowledge
Background in Quality Engineering/ Management
