Job Description
- Design and development of new medical and architectural products
- Maintain appropriate files of drawings, engineering records, and all related information.
- Develop verification & validation plans and conduct testing
- Analyze technical implications of design concepts.
- Build and test prototypes to ensure all essential product requirements are met.
- Identify, analyze and correct product or process issues
- Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
- Assist with preparing regulatory documentation.
- Supervise and support the manufacturing process of all designs.
- Receive client feed-back and implement changes after thorough testing to continually improve products.
- Ensure work produced is of high quality and in compliance with Amico’s quality system
Skills Required
- Background in Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- 1-2 years of product development experience preferred
- Experience in Solidworks 3D CAD software is a must.
- Experience with Solidworks PDM is an asset
- Working knowledge of GD&T is an asset
- Knowledge of electrical components an asset.
- Experience with product development in accordance with ISO 13485 is an asset
- Must be willing to learn and work well with technicians, engineers, and all levels of management.
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Candidates should be self-starters and have a hands-on approach
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
