Amico's specialized surgical luminaires are designed to provide flawless visibility in the OR environment with precise and uniform illumination, proper color rendering, and superior shadow control. Surgical lighting plays a crucial role in the Operating Room and must provide surgeons and clinicians outstanding performance and functionality. Amico's surgical luminaires are designed to provide perimeter lighting in the operating room theater to support clinicians with visual acuity during advanced surgical procedures. Our Solar Series Surgical Luminaires offer additional flexibility and can be used with Green and White LED combinations to reduce glare on monitors and prevent eye strain during lengthy surgical procedures. For added convenience, all surgical fixtures offer dimming and zoned lighting options.

Procedure & Exam

An MRI scan can be a nerve-wracking experience for patients, with 42% experiencing anxiety over their MR scan. Patient anxiety results in higher sedation rates, increased patient movement, and more failed MR scans. Research has shown that when a patient's emotional needs and comforts are met, there is a more positive outcome for patients, staff, and the facility as a whole. The behavioral health environment should be carefully designed for each patient's unique needs and complement the healing process. Amico's behavioral health lighting solutions provide a clean and modern aesthetic that contributes to the patient's overall sense of comfort to help facilitate relaxation and healing. All of our behavioral solutions are specifically engineered to mitigate patient health risks by ensuring all fixtures are designed with the necessary precautions to ensure patient safety. These precautions include an anti-ligature design, Torx screw fasteners, and a tamper-proof polycarbonate lens. Further enhance patient comfort with optional Human Centric lighting features to help maintain circadian rhythms and regulate sleep-wake cycles for an enhanced mood and improved patient recovery.

Behavioral

The Cleanroom environment is a highly controlled environment that is designed to reduce contamination by filtering out pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles to maintain a high degree of cleanliness.  To keep up with the rigorous demands of the Cleanroom environment, Amico offers recessed Cleanroom fixtures with both ISO3 and ISO4 ratings in a lower-profile design to accommodate for limited ceiling space. Our Cleanroom fixtures come in various color temperatures, CRI's, and lumen outputs to support users with proper illumination for safe and effective operations within the controlled environment. Long-lasting LEDs provide higher energy efficiency and ensure fixtures are low maintenance. Additional LED options include Amber and Red LEDs for photosensitive processes where photochemically sensitive materials are used or manufactured.  Amico's Cleanroom fixtures come with ingress protection and offer various IP ratings and NSF listings for further infection control purposes.

The multi-color iCE30m surgical light is designed for superior shadow control and optimum light intensity, along with offering diverse color temperatures to accurately differentiate between tissues. Each light head has a CRI of 97 and an R9 greater than 90, allowing surgeons to easily differentiate between tissues. The slim design and laminar flow openings promote airflow, allow for effortless maneuvering of the light, and is attached to a durable suspension system to eliminate drifting.

The iCE Surgical Lighting System is upgradeable and customizable and can be ordered in a variety of configurations consisting of multiple lightheads, HD cameras, monitors and future-proof suspension systems. We also offer flush-mounted wall control panels that complement the standard control panels located on each lighthead.

iCE30m  LED Surgical Lighting System

The FlexCam 4K Camera is designed to provide clinicians with superior visuals to support big screen surgeries. This 4K Camera achieves such graphics through its exceptional functions which include
focus, zoom, brightness, rotation, freeze and source select. Mounting directly to the Amico Spring Arm, the 4K Camera does not require a light head and can complete a 360-degree rotation with ease.

FlexCam 4K

The FlexCam 4K Camera features focus, zoom, brightness control, rotation, and source selection with 4K visuals for big-screen surgeries without the need for a lighthead.

Amico OR Pendants incorporate multiple equipment rails located at the front and back of the console to allow integration of multiple accessories. The OR Pendant is capable of withstanding up to 400 lbs with adjustable equipment shelf yielding a maximum weight of 150 lb (68.04 kg) each. Integrated with the OR Pendant, our intuitive control handle allows for easy maneuvering of the equipment rack.

OR Equipment Boom

Versatile equipment rails at the front and back, enabling the integration of multiple accessories, with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs and an adjustable equipment shelf capable of holding up to 150 lbs each.

Customizable Anesthesia Booms have a console rotation of 340°, are ceiling supply units that save space, create a more orderly working environment, and increase workflow efficiency. By keeping cables, devices, and medical gas lines off the floor, Anesthesia Booms ensure better access to the patient, a more flexible room configuration, and provide a safer working environment for hospital staff.

Anesthesia Boom

The Hammerhead Boom can be integrated into any operating room, surgery center, and hybrid operating room. Its horizontal design provides health care professionals with more space to work under the console. Its low profile is perfect for tight spaces.

The Hammerhead Boom is commonly seen as a utility boom, a perfusion boom, or an anesthesia boom. In addition, the Hammerhead Boom can be integrated into a V-Series Pendant. The boom is equipped with two control handles to control the movement of the boom. The design promotes exceptional infection control with its rounded surfaces and minimal seams for easy cleaning, and top covers and seals that allow for easy removal and reinstall during any maintenance or servicing.

Amico's VT Arms offers a great solution for your monitor system, and medical lights. Our monitor arms are available in single, dual, triple, and quad configurations and may be mounted on the wall or to the ceiling.

Surgical Lights and Monitor Arms

Amico's VT Arms provide an excellent option for your monitor and medical lighting systems, featuring configurations in single, dual, triple, and quad setups, with options for both wall and ceiling mounting.
