Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute the purchasing process
- Issue Purchase Orders, and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure goods are available to meet production requirements on time
- Review purchase requisition requests daily
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery, resolving any issues that may arise
- Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain all relevant purchasing documents
- Prepare payment requisitions and coordinate with the finance department for timely payments
- Arrange logistics for shipments from overseas suppliers including customs clearance and transportation
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as required
Experience and Requirements:
- 2-3 years of purchasing experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask
- Mandarin speaking is an asset
