This position will be working with the PM/CSR team as well as Production planning and
scheduling.
The Planner/Scheduler will plan/schedule, issue production work, monitor activities in order to meet production targets and priorities. Review capacity requirements with Operation/Production Manager and balance capacity and load as required. Will also support, implement, and maintain all strategic continuous improvement to ensure deadlines are achieved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a production plan to maximizes plant efficiency and provide the best delivery times
- Communicate daily with Production Manager, CSR and Production Coordinators regarding WIP status, rush orders, re-scheduling and priorities
- Communicate with PM/CSR with Production-MFG Lead Times
- Re-schedule Production Orders for any delays such as Quality, Part Shortages
- Monitor and communicate order performance throughout the production process, highlighting concerns and communicating with management
- Production data management updates (Smartsheet / Spire)
- Conduct weekly meetings with PM/CSR/Buyers on Production Orders status
- Work closely with Process Engineers with Product Lead Times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications: Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and ERP systems (Spire/SAP).
- Attention to detail and service oriented.
- Ability to create and understands reports to make production decisions.
- Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have time management skills and able to prioritize effectively.
- Able to continuously improve processes and open to learning.
