This is an exciting opportunity in a Junior to Intermediate role for support of our Technical support and Project Management departments. Growth, development and promotion for the successful proponent is anticipated and will be encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Support product line with records of reoccurring issues
- Assist customer over the phone to determine the origin of an issue
- Create RGA documents for service calls
- Provide guidance in claims on warranty
- Provide quotations to customers for out of warranty service calls
- Create Service documentations for product
- Work closely with Engineering and Installation/Service Team to schedule and resolve issues at customer site.
- Track service calls to ensure timely resolution
- Generate RGA reports alongside quality control manager
- Provide feedback to engineering for product improvement
Job Requirements:
- Sound engineering skills
- Ability to think abstractly and solve problems creatively
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn new product design
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team leadership when completing projects
- Fluent English is a must
Qualifications:
- Any Project Management related education, training or certification is an asset
- Working knowledge of electronics and electrical measurement equipment. i.e. Multimeter, etc a must
- Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work with tight deadlines, multi task and follow up
- Experience working with an ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning software is an asset
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic electrical engineering concepts is an asset
- Excellent English written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and result oriented
- Good leadership and ability to drive initiatives
- Proficiency in MS office, Excel & Power Point
- Post-Secondary Education in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical or Technician
- Engineering experience in a related position
