Operating Room

Amico's patient room lighting solutions merge architectural aesthetics with exceptional lighting performance to improve patient outcomes and maximize clinical efficiencies. To do this, all of our patient room lighting fixtures provide multifunctional solutions that address the needs of both the patient and the caregiver. High-quality illumination, color rendering, and appropriate color temperatures support clinicians and maximize clinical workflow efficiencies. At the same time, design aesthetics and general lighting functionalities provide patients with a home-like environment that facilitates patient comfort and healing. All of our fixtures are engineered with a one-piece seam welded enclosure and antimicrobial finishes for infection control measures. Amico offers a comprehensive portfolio of patient room lighting solutions that can be customized for your specific lighting needs and requirements. We offer several fixtures and solutions to round out your patient room lighting design from floor to ceiling. All patient room lighting products meet the recommended performance standards, offer easy maintenance, and a 5-year limited warranty.

Patient Room

Amico's patient room lighting solutions merge architectural aesthetics with exceptional lighting performance to improve patient outcomes and maximize clinical efficiencies.

Amico's specialized surgical luminaires are designed to provide flawless visibility in the OR environment with precise and uniform illumination, proper color rendering, and superior shadow control. Surgical lighting plays a crucial role in the Operating Room and must provide surgeons and clinicians outstanding performance and functionality. Amico's surgical luminaires are designed to provide perimeter lighting in the operating room theater to support clinicians with visual acuity during advanced surgical procedures. Our Solar Series Surgical Luminaires offer additional flexibility and can be used with Green and White LED combinations to reduce glare on monitors and prevent eye strain during lengthy surgical procedures. For added convenience, all surgical fixtures offer dimming and zoned lighting options.

Amico offers a variety of procedure and exam lighting solutions for all areas of the hospital environment. From minor surgeries to general examination lighting, Amico offers modern exam lighting technology to address the common issues faced by clinicians today. All of our Procedure and Exam lighting solutions are designed to provide superior shadow control, high-level illumination and incorporate appropriate color temperatures and CRI to support clinicians with visual acuity. Our medical lighting is engineered in a seamless design to maximize infection control efforts and offers exceptional maneuverability and flexible mounting options for the ultimate convenience.

Procedure & Exam

Our Procedure and Exam lighting solutions are designed to provide high-level illumination and incorporate appropriate color temperatures and CRI to support clinicians with visual acuity.

When designing an imaging suite, it is important to consider the patients emotional needs and comforts. An MRI scan can be a nerve-wracking experience for patients, with 42% experiencing anxiety over their MR scan. Patient anxiety results in higher sedation rates, increased patient movement, and more failed MR scans. Research has shown that when a patient's emotional needs and comforts are met, there is a more positive outcome for patients, staff, and the facility as a whole. The lighting design plays a significant role in creating an Enhanced Patient Experience and can aid as a positive visual distraction that soothes the patient's anxiety and encourages relaxation. Amico's Enhanced Patient Experience products incorporate the healing power of nature to provide an atmosphere that facilitates relaxation and provides a personalized experience for each patient.

MRI Suite

The behavioral health environment should be carefully designed for each patient's unique needs and complement the healing process. Amico's behavioral health lighting solutions provide a clean and modern aesthetic that contributes to the patient's overall sense of comfort to help facilitate relaxation and healing. All of our behavioral solutions are specifically engineered to mitigate patient health risks by ensuring all fixtures are designed with the necessary precautions to ensure patient safety. These precautions include an anti-ligature design, Torx screw fasteners, and a tamper-proof polycarbonate lens. Further enhance patient comfort with optional Human Centric lighting features to help maintain circadian rhythms and regulate sleep-wake cycles for an enhanced mood and improved patient recovery.

Behavioral

Facilitate healing with multifunctional behavioral health luminaires. Designed to meet the needs of both the patient and caregiver with all the security features needed in the behavioral health environment.

The Cleanroom environment is a highly controlled environment that is designed to reduce contamination by filtering out pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles to maintain a high degree of cleanliness.  To keep up with the rigorous demands of the Cleanroom environment, Amico offers recessed Cleanroom fixtures with both ISO3 and ISO4 ratings in a lower-profile design to accommodate for limited ceiling space. Our Cleanroom fixtures come in various color temperatures, CRI's, and lumen outputs to support users with proper illumination for safe and effective operations within the controlled environment. Long-lasting LEDs provide higher energy efficiency and ensure fixtures are low maintenance. Additional LED options include Amber and Red LEDs for photosensitive processes where photochemically sensitive materials are used or manufactured.  Amico's Cleanroom fixtures come with ingress protection and offer various IP ratings and NSF listings for further infection control purposes.

Cleanroom

Keep up with the rigorous demands of the Cleanroom environment with ISO3 and ISO4 rated fixtures in a lower-profile design to accommodate for limited ceiling space.

	<li>The Hose Assemblies shall be an Amico Alert-1 series.</li>
	<li>The Hose Assemblies are manufactured with FDA approved medical grade thermoplastic conductive rubber tubing. The tubing is reinforced with polyester yarn reinforcement. The maximum working pressure is upto 55 psi for all gases except for Nitrogen, Nitrogen hoses have a working pressure of upto 200 psi. The burst pressure rating is between 200-250 psi @70º F. The tubing is color coded to conform to CGA C-9 standard. The fittings are permanently crimped on each end with ferrules.</li>
	<li>The Hose Assemblies are normally made with a DISS Female Handtight nut on one end (to be connected to an outlet). The other end is a Male DISS or Female Quick Connect coupler with Check Unit. The length is measured in feet from end to end (including fittings).</li>
