Amico's specialized surgical luminaires are designed to provide flawless visibility in the OR environment with precise and uniform illumination, proper color rendering, and superior shadow control. Surgical lighting plays a crucial role in the Operating Room and must provide surgeons and clinicians outstanding performance and functionality. Amico's surgical luminaires are designed to provide perimeter lighting in the operating room theater to support clinicians with visual acuity during advanced surgical procedures. Our Solar Series Surgical Luminaires offer additional flexibility and can be used with Green and White LED combinations to reduce glare on monitors and prevent eye strain during lengthy surgical procedures. For added convenience, all surgical fixtures offer dimming and zoned lighting options.

Procedure & Exam

When designing an imaging suite, it is important to consider the patients emotional needs and comforts. An MRI scan can be a nerve-wracking experience for patients, with 42% experiencing anxiety over their MR scan. Patient anxiety results in higher sedation rates, increased patient movement, and more failed MR scans. Research has shown that when a patient's emotional needs and comforts are met, there is a more positive outcome for patients, staff, and the facility as a whole. The lighting design plays a significant role in creating an Enhanced Patient Experience and can aid as a positive visual distraction that soothes the patient's anxiety and encourages relaxation. Amico's behavioral health lighting solutions provide a clean and modern aesthetic that contributes to the patient's overall sense of comfort to help facilitate relaxation and healing. All of our behavioral solutions are specifically engineered to mitigate patient health risks by ensuring all fixtures are designed with the necessary precautions to ensure patient safety. These precautions include an anti-ligature design, Torx screw fasteners, and a tamper-proof polycarbonate lens. Further enhance patient comfort with optional Human Centric lighting features to help maintain circadian rhythms and regulate sleep-wake cycles for an enhanced mood and improved patient recovery.

Behavioral

Facilitate healing with multifunctional behavioral health luminaires. Designed to meet the needs of both the patient and caregiver with all the security features needed in the behavioral health environment.

The Cleanroom environment is a highly controlled environment that is designed to reduce contamination by filtering out pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles to maintain a high degree of cleanliness.  To keep up with the rigorous demands of the Cleanroom environment, Amico offers recessed Cleanroom fixtures with both ISO3 and ISO4 ratings in a lower-profile design to accommodate for limited ceiling space. Our Cleanroom fixtures come in various color temperatures, CRI's, and lumen outputs to support users with proper illumination for safe and effective operations within the controlled environment. Long-lasting LEDs provide higher energy efficiency and ensure fixtures are low maintenance. Additional LED options include Amber and Red LEDs for photosensitive processes where photochemically sensitive materials are used or manufactured.  Amico's Cleanroom fixtures come with ingress protection and offer various IP ratings and NSF listings for further infection control purposes.

	<li>WAGD pressure switch assembly for the medical gas alarm system shall incorporate a U.L. Listed single pole double throw snap-action micro switch. The pressure switch shall be prewired with color coded leads. Normally open or normally closed circuitry shall be field-selected to be compatible with the medical gas alarm system design. Electrical rating shall be 10 amperes at 120 volt AC.</li>
	<li>The WAGD switch shall be tested up to 30" Hg with an adjustable range of 0.8" to 29" Hg, preset at 12" Hg for the alarm condition.</li>
	<li>The switch enclosure shall be a Nema 4 water tight housing with mounting bracket, 1/4" FNPT bottom inlet gas service line connection, and 3/4" FNPT top inlet conduit.</li>
	<li>A gauge shall be incorporated after the pressure switch. A gas specific DISS nut and nipple shall be attached to the bottom of the gauge.</li>
	<li>The WAGD pressure switch assembly will then be mounted directly to a gas specific DISS demand check (provided by Amico) directly onto the pipeline. The demand check shall have a 1/4" Male NPT connection.</li>
